Who we are
David Carlisle and Santiago Palermo founded Parrilla Tour Buenos Aires in 2011. The two met at an asado held by a mutual friend and instantly realized they had skills that complimented each other well for doing business in Argentina, shared a passion for good food and wine, meeting people from around the world, and entrepreneurism.
David Carlisle – Co-Founder and Director: Originally from Portland, Oregon in the United States, David moved to Buenos Aires in 2007. David has a passion for food, wine, cooking, and exploring cultures through their cuisine.
Santiago Palermo – Co-Founder and Business Director: Raised in the Province of Buenos Aires, Santiago leads the operations at Parrilla Tour. German Landa – Guide: Born and raised in La Plata, about an hour away from Buenos Aires, German has been leading personalized tours of Buenos Aires and Argentina for nearly 15 years. When we met him we knew he’d be great because of his love of Buenos Aires, excitement in sharing the city’s cuisine and culture with others and excellent level of service.
Julieta Bianchi – Reservations and Tour Support: Julieta grew up on her family’s winery in Mendoza and blended her first wine at the age of 13. Besides responding to client emails and reservations, Julieta is studying Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires and is active in the Buenos Aires street art scene.
